Description

Description:

This presentation proposes a drug addiction therapy that recognizes and accommodates the personal needs met by substance use, avoids apparent opposition, and leverages distinctive psycho-biological learning to attain a mind-body gestalt complimentary to the client’s sobriety. The technique incorporates client empowerment and relapse prevention. This strategy creates a secure foundation for dealing with any later mental health issues that are directly or indirectly connected to substance abuse. This approach employs ideomotor inquiry, a basic kind of mind-body connection. Because this is a new strategy, basic information that applies to all levels of professional expertise will be supplied.

Objectives of Education:

Explain the utilization principle in the context of psycho-biological learning.
Explain briefly one strategy to substance misuse therapy.
